The Columbia Bakehouse is a woman-owned and family-operated bakery in Rainier, OR. We love our community and want to offer baked goods using organic, seasonal, and local ingredients whenever possible. We hope to provide a sense of community around your own table.
The Columbia Bakehouse specializes in cookies, bread, pies and pastries. Our bakery is passionate about food preservation. We incorporate our in-house-made jams, jellies, pickles, and syrups whenever possible. We offer baked goods that are an indulgent part of your week but also baked goods that complement your weekly meal plans.

Hi! My name is Saleena. I am the proud owner of The Columbia Bakehouse. As a little girl, I started baking with my Grandma at our family’s dairy farm, starting my lifelong love of the craft. I have worked as a Pastry Chef and Baker for the last 25 years. Most of my career has been designing bakeries and products for nationwide retailers and large manufacturers. Opening bakeries from Portland to Austin, Boise, Denver, Santa Cruz, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, British Columbia and more. I have also enjoyed supporting small businesses and promoting their growth in retail and distribution. After helping all these bakers and makers it is time to open my own bakery. This bakery has been a dream for many years. In 2023, Saleena became a Master Food Preserver to expand the love & knowledge of food preservation techniques and further support the community. We are excited to bake for you, Columbia County!
